We are excited to announce that ECPT is now inviting applications for placements for June 2026 start!

We have around 7 spots available for a June start. This is a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment specifically dedicated to providing affordable existential psychodynamic therapy.

Requirements and Benefits:

Only students undertaking psychodynamic training can apply, including students of integrative or pluralistic training if a large part is dedicated to psychodynamic training. It is necessary for students to have already passed their Fitness to Practice before applying. Each trainee is expected to see 3 in-person clients for open-ended therapy, with the option of also doing some online work. Students need to have a course-approved individual supervisor of a psychodynamic modality and in addition to this, they will benefit from free monthly group supervision meetings (Mondays / Fridays) and CPD courses from ECPT. Students need to have a student membership of an approved ethical body, their own professional indemnity insurance, and they’ll be supported to get a PVG scheme check or update at their own cost.

Key Dates:

• Application Deadline: Thursday 2nd April

• Interviews: late April and early May

• Induction: end of May / beginning of June
